Please be advised, that the TV models KDL-46HX825 and XBR-46HX925, both manufactured in 2011, may present, depending on the usage conditions an image problem on the LCD panel, or failure on the television, showing 5 red blinks on the standby led.
For devices sold in Brazil, showing one of the two symptoms in question, the warranty will be extended to March 31, 2016.
We appreciate your patience, and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Symptoms where the extended warranty will apply:
- Image problem on the LCD panel.
- Failure on the television, showing red blinks on the standby led.
Symptoms where the extended warranty will not apply, the normal terms and conditions of warranty must be applied:
- Failure on the television, showing 5 red blinking on the standby led different form the 5 times or the television does not change to standby.
- Physical damage to the panel caused by misuse (cracked panel) or stains on the panel caused by the use of chemical products or abrasives.
