When using Wi-Fi with a WEP encryption method, the Android™ TV cannot identify an incorrect password. Because of this, when an incorrect password is entered, the appropriate error message will not be displayed. If the TV cannot connect to the Internet or network, make sure that the password is entered correctly, regardless of the error message that appears. The following error messages may be displayed:
- Router not found
- Could not connect to the Internet
- Could not find (your Wi-Fi network)
- The message Connected successfully! may also appear even if the TV has not been able to connect to the Internet because of an incorrect password. Check the password then try to connect again.
- An alternative method to connect the Android TV to the network is through the WPS Push button method .
