I cannot access the Band Setting of the TV.

When the Wi-Fi® setting of the TV is enabled, the Band setting from the TV menu will not be accessible. The TV automatically selects the most appropriate band setting when the Wi-Fi setting is on.

To manually select the band setting of the TV, disable the TV's Wi-Fi setting and follow the steps below.

For 2014 TV models

  1. Using the supplied remote control, press the HOME button.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Under Settings, select Network.
  4. Select Wi-Fi Direct Settings.
  5. While the Wi-Fi Direct Settings screen in displayed, press the OPTIONS button on the TV remote.
  6. When the options are displayed, select Band Setting.
  7. Select Auto.

    NOTES:

    • Select Auto (2.4GHz Band) when connecting with devices that support 2.4 GHz only.
    • Select Auto (5GHz Band) when connecting with devices that support 5 GHz.

For Android™ TVs released in 2015

  1. Using the supplied remote control, press the HOME button.
  2. Select Settings.

  3. Under Network & Accessories, select Network.
  4. Select Wi-Fi Direct.
  5. Select Advanced Settings.
  6. Select Band Setting.
  7. Select Auto.
