Follow this procedure to troubleshoot when Recording Disabled is displayed by the camcorder.
- Make sure the disc being used is not finalized; it is not possible to record additional video on a finalized disc.
- Clean the disc to make sure there are no fingerprints or smudges.
- If the issue is not resolved, attempt to record on a different disc.
The troubleshooting steps listed above should resolve your issue. If you have completed all of the steps and the issue is not resolved, service may be required.
