The code that worked to control a connected device does not work after completing the setup procedure.

If the infrared (IR) code no longer operates the device for which it was set up, follow the appropriate procedure below based on the Sony® Internet TV device that you own:

Follow these steps for Internet TV Blu-ray Disc™ (BD) Players and Media Boxes:

For Television Codes:

  1. Using the remote, navigate to Home < Applications < Settings < TV & AVR < TV Control.
  2. Change the manufacturer or code until the correct code is found.

For AV Receiver IR Codes:

  1. Navigate to Home < Applications < Settings < TV & AVR < AV Receiver.
  2. Change the manufacturer or code until the correct code is found.

For other device IR Codes:

  1. Navigate to Home < Applications < Settings < Video Input < Configured devices.
  2. Select Edit configured devices and then select the device that the IR Code is not working with.
  3. Select IR Blaster settings < Code.
  4. Enter one of the listed codes until the correct code is found.

 

Follow these steps for the Sony Internet TVs:

For AV Receiver IR Codes:

  1. Navigate to Home < Applications < Settings < AV Receiver
  2. Change the manufacturer or code until the correct code is found.

For other device IR Codes:

  1. Navigate to Home < Applications < Settings < Configured devices
  2. Select Edit configured devices and then select the device that the IR Code is not working with.
  3. Select IR Blaster settings < Code.
  4. Enter one of the listed codes until the correct code is found.
