How to read PDF files on the tablet.

Applicable Products and Categories of This Article

There is no PDF reader installed on the tablet, but if you setup the Reader application you will be able to easily read PDF files using the tablet. Once the Reader application has been updated and setup, you will be able to read transferred and downloaded PDF files.

NOTE:  There may also be additional applications available from the Google Play Store that will allow you to read PDF files.

If you are trying to view PDF files directly from a web site, the default Browser application does not have the ability to render the PDF as part of a web browsing session, but rather downloads the files to the tablet instead. Once they are downloaded, follow this procedure to find the file and view the file. Image
